History
School Choice International was started as a result of my husband's business transfer to London. We moved in the middle of the academic year and although as an educator, I had the skills to choose appropriate schools for my son and daughter, I did not have the emotional fortitude at that time to search for the right school, explore the British curriculum, compare it with the American and international schools available, and make a well informed decision.

School Choice International was established to help families choose the right schools for their children, based on a full understanding of the educational systems they are coming from and going to, along with the personal values and circumstances of the family. From initially being a one woman show, School Choice has steadily grown to become a business that has over 90 consultants in 45 locations around the world, helping hundreds of relocating families choose schools  every year.

After a repatriation even more difficult than her transition to London, my daughter said, "Now I know there is nothing I can't do." When done right, children can learn as much from relocation as from an entire school career.

At School Choice International we are committed to finding the right school for every child. We recognize that each child has individual needs, and that each family has its own values, aspirations and philosophies regarding education.

Our approach is to select and recommend schools based on the "goodness of fit" between child, school and family. As an independent organization, we do not accept incentives from schools. Our objectivity allows us to maintain excellent relationships with schools around the globe, and to ensure that children are placed in an environment in which they can thrive.
